COB means “chip on board” which integrates the led chip on the PCB directly.
Compared to common SMD or GOB products, it is more reliable, more uniform color, higher protection level and contrast ratio.
By uniform W600*H337.5*39mm,16:9 display ratio cabinet design, compatible with multiple pixel pitch of P0.9375, P1.25, P1.56 and P1.875.

With the LED display technology growing fast, new technologies have been emerging.
traditional LED display all use SMD technology way. and for more protection of the LED, GOB(glue on board) technology is used, especially when the pixel pitch is small and the SMD LED is very tiny, easy to be hit off.
with the material cost dropping, led display pixel pitch is becoming smaller and smaller.
to solve the LED fixing issue, COB technology is developped.
with COB technology, the LED chip is directly fixed to the PCB board. which saved the process or SMT. making the efficiency of LED modules production higher and faster.
